Instructions
Top Tip: To make this snowman into a secret holder for your lollies, don't glue down the 'lid' on the 'bottom' ball & make sure it faces down when gluing the snowman together. then simply lift up your snowman to reveal your secret compartment. Don't worry, this will make more sense as you complete the project.

Hold each pentagon ball cut out so that you can see the score lines, and fold towards yourself along all the score lines - including the tabs (these will help join each pentagon to the next & create a ball shape). There is one pentagon that does not have any tabs coming off it, find this and mark it with a pen (this is on the inside so won't show), this is the last pentagon that you will glue down and acts like a 'lid'. Fold & mark all 3 cut-outs.

Each cut-out has what looks like 2 sections (almost like flowers), that form each half of the ball shape. Start by gluing the tabs of one side first and connecting each pentagon to the one next to it using the tabs. The tabs should be glued on the inside of the next pentagon shape, so they cannot be seen in the final shape.

Leave the pentagon you marked earlier to last, glue the tabs around it and simply fold it down (like a lid) and hold until the glue holds it down.

Repeat with all three cut-outs to create 3 ball-like shapes. These will form the body of your snowman.

Stack the shapes with the biggest on the bottom and the smallest on top (to make the head). Arrange them so that the top 'head' has a point facing forward, and the 'middle' & 'Bottom' have flat faces facing forward - like in the picture.

Glue the 2 black dots (meant to look like coal lumps) to the 'head' to make the eyes, they should go just above and on either side of the point, like in the picture.

Next, you will need to go outside and find 2 small twigs to make the snowman's arms (always seek adult help with this step).
The twigs should be around 10cm long - of similar lengths and if possible try to get ones with pronged ends like in the picture (as this looks like hands).
Next, make 2 small holes (about the size of your twigs) in the side pentagons of the 'middle' ball. Gently push the twigs into the holes to form the snowmans arms.

Then, make a small hole in the point of the 'head', fold the orange pipe cleaner in half and gently push the cut ends into the hole to create the snowman's nose (this is meant to look like a carrot).

Lastly, glue the 3 parts together - be careful with your alignment of the 'head', 'middle' & 'bottom'.

Your Snowman is now ready to display.
