Instructions
First, Unwrap the lump of clay and knead it with your hands to make it soft and pliable.

Next, roll it out to about 0.5cm thick, you can cut out a shape, form it into a 3D sculpture or use a cookie cutter as we have to get a shape.

Whatever you decide to make, make sure you make a small hole somewhere to be able to hang it up (this can be done with a straw, a pen etc.

Bake your ornament on baking paper in the oven at 130 degrees centigrade (120 fan forced) for 15-30 mins (15m per 6mm of thickness). Take out with oven mitts (it will be very HOT) and allow to cool before handling. Once cooled, thread the string through the hole you made and tie the cut ends in a knot to make a hanging loop.

We have made one with some little decoration dots and with initials and the year stamped on the front. You can decorate it before it's baked, and add more decoration after it's cooled down. Add paint, glitter, or anything you like to make it your own personal creation.
